Ambassador to DMV

移植推進AmbassadorはDMV(運転免許場)で講習。皆にドナーカードに登録してもらうように啓発。特に免許を初めて持つ若者には重点的に。 Ambassadors to DMV are a key component of Donate Life California's essential partnership with the California Department of Motor Vehicles, which registers 98 percent of the state's designated donors. DMV field office clerks personally enter the donation decision into the system, and Ambassadors to DMV build relationships with front-line employees and managers to inspire them to see their support of donor registry enrollment as an important and meaningful responsibility. Donate Life Ambassadors to the DMV "adopt" field offices in their neighborhoods and personally thank DMV employees for the impact their partnership has had on the registry. Quarterly visits to the DMV field offices allow them to share their personal stories, celebrate registry milestones, and engage local newspapers to publicize DMV's important role in saving lives. Goal: Increase donor designation and decrease clerical mistakes that contribute to missed donor designation opportunities. Keys to Success: Available once a quarter on Wednesday morning (8am-9am) and occasionally during business hours, reliability, an eagerness to introduce yourself to DMV employees, and a willingness to share your personal story. Pathway to Success Introduction Schedule and attend a DMV Field Office staff meeting with a OneLegacy staff member or Regional Ambassador Lead Share your personal story Request placement of news stories in city publications that reach residents Describe your role going forward Maintaining the Relationship Monthly: Email the DMV Field Office manager to check in and offer to answer any questions that may have come up from the clerks in the office Quarterly: Schedule a presentation to DMV Field Office staff; Communicate key messages from Donate Life California; Distribute Pink Dot Press; Check stock/placement of posters and brochures and update banners to 8 or 9 million as warranted; Document your visit to your Regional Ambassador Lead and make suggestions for information to convey to the field offices for future visits. Annually: If applicable, present a framed DMV/Donate Life California Month proclamation from the city the field office is located.
